Cathedrals in the bull's eye

Isn't it interesting how many European cities have a major cathedral or duomo in their city center? Note the image here. This is the city of Como, near Milan in Italy.

I love that you can drive and each town has a "welcome" sign, then a "goodbye" sign on your way out. You know, the sign with the town name crossed out. Love that. And the bull's eye directing you to their "centro".

Driving is easier than you think when you travel abroad. And economical. Please to try.

  1. Anywhere in Europe and especially in Italy where religion is still very strong you can use cathedrals to guide you through the city center, you always know its the middle of the city center.. Who needs a satnav anyway :)
