What a great documentary! I just saw this on Netflix and loved the idea of the music and scenery of Cuba. I Iearned about this cool band from the 1950s & 60's called the Sapphires (the Diamonds and the Rubies names were already taken). This band was as popular as the Beatles with a sound and footwork similar to the Platters.
Watch this documentary and you'll consider writing your senator about opening up travel to Cuba. What a lovely island then and now.
