Flying east to see the leaves change?

Planning to fly east for the changing of the leaves, why not keep going and go to the far east? Now is the time to plan your fall excursions, and if you love adventure why not travel to Japan to see the leaves change? You could visit the beautiful temples of Nikko and see thousands of trees with vivid fall colors. Kirei, desu ne!

While in Tokyo, I recommend checking out the area of the city called Azabu Juban. You can walk down a quiet 'zaka', shop at Japanese or Western grocery stories, choose from many delicious traditional restaurants that are used to both Nihonjin and Gaijin.

While you are there stop in the cool blue and white store. It is run by a famous woman, Amy Sylvester Katoh and her store specializes in Japanese traditional indigo dying (Ai-zome) usually done on white cloth or chinaware; the shop is named 'Blue & White' (Azabu Juban 2-9-2, Minato-Ku, Tokyo 106).
